Designed for river barbel and used by all our specialist consultants, this is a blend of crushed hemp and halibut pellets that have been coarsely ground to create the perfect mix for cage feeder, mesh feeder, river feeder or balling in. It also makes an excellent base for a PVA Stick Mix or a sloppy spod mix.

When used in a feeder, it can be blended to create a fairly sticky mix so it can be used even in flooded conditions, and the larger particle size helps the groundbait to break up and release from the feeder.

Ground hemp produces a very light oil that is released immediately, even at cold temperatures, giving instant attraction. The heavier fish oils in Halibut pellets are released at a slower rate and continue to come out of the pellets as water flows over them, attracting fish to the feeder for an extended period. The variation in particle size means that fish follow the trail of smaller pieces as they are moved downstream, creating a drag towards the larger pieces that remain around the feeder.
