It is made by crushing green Koi granules to a fine, homogeneous consistency. Because of its fine particle size, it can be mixed to be quite sticky, perfect for Method feeder but will still break down easily, or it can be mixed a little drier, creating a perfect feed for skimmers or F1s or in shallow water because it creates a thin layer of groundbait on which fish will settle and feed but not fill up. Suitable for all species of coarse fish, but particularly popular with bream anglers.
Dai Gribble (specialist angler) says: "Supercrush Green is the best groundbait for bream, it forms the basis of my mix because of its strong fishy smell and it has the right color to attract big bream. I mix it with chopped worms and fish it in a feeder, often adding the same mix on top to create a big spread of bait for the bream to feed on).
Mixing tips
Supercrush Green is easy to mix. Empty the 2 kg bag of bait into a round mixing bucket, fill a 2-quart maggot tray with water, pour it over the bait and mix thoroughly, then leave to stand for 30 minutes, during which time the water will be absorbed by the bait. Then, for best results, to remove any lumps and create a homogeneous consistency, strain the starter through a sieve and it's ready to use.
