The Kamakura Choddy is sharpened after production to an extremely low tolerance. This hook pattern is designed for use with fluorocarbon and stiff monofilament, such as Mouthtrap. A must for Hinged Stiff Rig and Chod Rig presentations, this hook pattern is also very popular for those who fish with a zig.
Each hook point is extremely sharp, every hook in the box has the same sharpness. Consistency is key, so we take pride in making sure that each tip is exactly the same. Each tip has a wax coating on the cutting edge. This unique way of coating the tip ensures that they stay in the best possible condition until they are ready to be used. Simply remove the wax coating before casting and you'll be fishing with the sharpest hook you can imagine.
