A Torayca® carbon blank with hook-setting ability and the power to counter big fish is the essence of the W3 Dropshot 2nd Generation rods. The two-piece SKS reel seat is extremely lightweight and offers direct contact with the reinforced 1K woven carbon blank for maximum sensitivity. The blank is made with a full tip with a very smooth action for more feel and improved bite detection. The flat rear handle is designed to rest under the forearm while fishing for improved comfort and stability. Details like the unique lure hook also make a big difference. When using a traditional dropshot rig, simply slide the line in and tighten it to hold the dropshot lead in place, eliminating tangles when moving between fishing spots.
