Century has developed a tailor-made combination of resin matrix and graphene. The resin matrix supports the loads generated on the rod by casting and play and, when reinforced with graphene, creates resilience and strength. When properly incorporated into the resin system, it has the ability to increase resilience far more effectively than one-dimensional (e.g. nanotubes) and zero-dimensional (e.g. nanoparticles) fortifiers, so we can make lighter rods with the high strength and robustness you'd expect from a Century carp fishing rod.

Generation 2 Anti-Twist Technology (Gen 2 AT-T) ?

The new technology used in the construction of the blank is highly innovative. It uses our own material, graphene, to create Generation 2 anti-twist technology in the tip section. Generation 2 AT-T resists this angular acceleration by inserting fibres at different angles into the rod wall. The result is a considerable increase in resistance to torsional loading and general twisting or screwing of the plug into the tip section. This is a major cause of inaccuracy, especially when casting over long distances, and is most often the main culprit behind guide misalignment and an undesirable increase in line friction.
