Bandum Wafters are baits with a buoyancy somewhere between that of a bottom bait and a pop-up, designed to counterbalance the weight of the hook.

Because it "floats" when a fish feeds, it will rise faster than a standard bottom bait in the fish's mouth, resulting in more hooks.

Perfect for use with a Method Feeder, the Bandum Wafter sits just above the pile of pellets or groundbait on the Method Feeder, which means that when a fish feeds, the Bandum Wafter darts into the fish's mouth, resulting in more and faster bites.

The Bandum is the perfect hook bait to use with a bait ring, its unique cylindrical shape with bulbous ends means it can be easily banded using a Pellet Bander or Bait Bander and the bait ring sits neatly in the Bandum's thinner central section, meaning the hook sits perfectly just below the middle of the bait, meaning more fish hooked. What's more, Bandum is less likely to be pulled out of the hair, allowing you to fish with greater confidence and efficiency.

Bandum Wafter is also an ideal splash waggler bait, as it sinks more slowly than a standard bait, Bandum Wafter spends more time in the feeding zone than a standard bottom bait, giving carp more opportunities to take it.

Bandum Wafters are the bait of choice for many experts as they are perfect for all fish species, including carp, bream, skimmers and F1s.

As the buoyancy of the Bandum Wafter is counterbalanced by the weight of the hook and strip, you'll need to find the right hook for your presentation. In general, a 12 to 16 hook is the right size to balance the Bandum Wafter, but this depends on the hook model used. You can use smaller hooks by simply pinching a small strike under the bait on the hair to balance the Bandum Wafter.

Available in 5 distinct color combinations to suit all fishing situations. A good tip is to keep changing your hook color until you find the one the fish prefer that day.

Options include: Yellow Pineapple which is suitable for all waters, especially if the water is a little colored, the yellow color can really stand out. Pink Krill which is an excellent combination of visual color and strong odor. Pellet which has the same color and flavor as most fishing pellets, which is perfect for catching carp that are used to feeding on pellets. White Chocolate is probably the most visual color and is often the fastest to get a bite. Chocolate Orange is the latest addition to the range, a vibrant orange color that gives a distinctive new look - carp love it!
