This rig is made up of two hooks attached to each other and is specifically designed to lure a crab and give it a perfect presentation in the water. This Wishbone rig is excellent for surfcasting or stalling hard or soft crabs.
By removing the last rear leg on each side of the shellfish, each hook is threaded into the back of the body in the cavity thus created.
This set-up is perfect for sparids (sea breams, sars, etc.) which are used to "crunch" crabs in several bites because it optimizes their hooking. It is also excellent on the sea bass which is a great consumer of these shellfish.
This rig is made of 100% fluorocarbon, which makes it almost invisible underwater and highly resistant to abrasion.
