The retractable butt section can be locked in two different positions, allowing all models to be fished at 8 or 10 feet to adapt quickly and effortlessly to the fishing situation at hand. The 4.25lb model is an ideal spod rod in 10 feet (we do not recommend spodding with this rod in the 8 feet position). It is also great for big fish like sturgeon and catfish.
