The HQ Dual Layer features a 20,000mm Hydrostatic Dura-Stop fabric, offering the best quality and protection against the elements. The Dual Layer system uses our Custom Camo finish and completely eliminates the need for an overlay by creating an air pocket and helps to reduce condensation in the colder months while keeping the interior warm in the warmer months. The back side of the HQ Dual Layer is completely removable, allowing good airflow in the warmer months or during long sessions. This removable side can be stored directly in your bivy thanks to large internal pockets. The front panel can also be completely removed and stored in one of the internal pockets like the rear panel. The front panel is equipped with our "Custom Camo" mesh vents and double zippers to create a letterbox-like opening. Other features include a rear vent, a front shelter to protect you from the heaviest rains and a very large internal space. Designed with comfort in mind, the HQ bivies are built with a double layer, which can be used as an additional layer. A double layer, which can be kept in place when you store your bivy, eliminating the need for an outer layer.
